CRIF strongly supports innovation and development, which is why it has decided to invest in Holipay, the Italian startup based in Milano Marittima, specifically designed for the world of tourism and hospitality, which has created an algorithm that allows you to spread the payment of a holiday around the world without limits by dividing the price, following the growing trend of Book Now Pay Later.
CRIF believes in the Holipay project and has decided to enter its capital with a stake significant, seeing in its purpose and future important and real potential. The goal of the start-up specializing in the travel sector is to support the growth of tourism and hotel structures by bringing the innovative and unique system for booking and paying for holidays all over the world, with continuous optimization of the proposed algorithm for an ever-increasing presence in the global tourism market, with the diffusion of this new system which is comfortable for the traveler and improves the performance of hotel businesses.
CRIF has followed the growth phases of Holipay and, anticipating the future trend, now always more current, of the tourism market, has decided to invest in this project continuously evolution to improve the booking and payment experience of travellers, offering hoteliers a system that increasingly favors direct bookings in their hotel establishments.
The interest and participation of an important multinational company such as CRIF is a positive signal for the tourism market, as evidenced by the data received by Holipay from hotel businesses that are already using its algorithm for the sale of holidays.
In a few months of activity (Holipay started to be fully operational only from mid-February of this year) hotels had up to 39% paying travellers with the deferred payment method proposed by Holipay. Tourists, both Italian and foreign, are increasingly choosing the payment option deferred in organizing their holidays and the whole hospitality market is moving in this direction, introducing the new Holipay algorithm in their booking systems.
Holipay now, with the support of CRIF, turns its gaze not only to Italy, but to the whole international travel market, putting the innovation of payment systems in the foreground.
